Lixing Fang
I am a 2nd-year Ph.D. student at CICS, University of Massachusetts Amherst, supervised by Prof. Chuang Gan. My recent research interests mainly focus on human motion and humanoid robots.

Before that, I completed my Bachelor degree in IIIS (a.k.a. Yao Class) at Tsinghua University. At there I was an undergraduate member at the 3DVICI Lab of IIIS advised by Prof. Li Yi, working on hand motion synthesis. In 2023, I spent six months as a research intern at UC San Diego advised by Prof. Xiaolong Wang, working on dexterous hand manipulation.

  • I was an active competitive programmer throughout high school and undergraduate, earning multiple regional podium finishes in ACM/ICPC.
  • I was the goalkeeper for the IIIS team, and I also enjoy watching baseball. I support the LA Dodgers and Shimizu S-Pulse.
  • I collect CDs of J-pop and J-rock. My favorite is HIMEHINA and I also enjoy artists like Hitorie and Ado. I play bass in spare time.
